About The Position

Wells Enterprises (a Ferrero Company) is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Operations team. This role involves supervising production shifts, monitoring attendance, and evaluating the performance of operators, packers, and line coordinators. The supervisor will also be responsible for evaluating and implementing production schedules, particularly on weekends. The position operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, working Thursday through Sunday.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years relevant production experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially those governing the food/dairy industry.
• Thorough understanding of attendance and disciplinary systems in place.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Practices
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft applications).
• Ability to work with all departments.
• Ability to maintain a Safe/Healthy working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Machine Operators, Production Operators, Waste Management Operators and Janitors.
• Work closely with other departments regarding production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves problems.
• Meet production financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
• Evaluate functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment and employees.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal (OSHA) codes and regulations.
