About The Position

This role is responsible for command center duties and general patrol duties. The Security Officer will monitor CCTV, patrol premises, respond to security issues, and maintain a secure environment. This position requires proficiency in CPR, First Aid, AED usage, and drug and alcohol testing.

Requirements

Proficiency in command center duties.
Ability to monitor and report on CCTV for abnormalities or security issues.
Ability to patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
Certification and ability to perform CPR, First Aid, and use of an AED.
Certification as a Drug and Alcohol technician.
Ability to provide clear concise information to supervisors, co-workers either by radio, written, electronic or in person.
Ability to prepare and assist with physical audits.
Ability to research and recommend solutions.
Ability to write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
Ability to perform investigative and follow up to all irregularities.
Ability to patrol industrial and office premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Respond to and investigate irregularities, including property damage, theft, and unauthorized persons.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
Perform investigative and follow-up actions for all irregularities.
Provide clear and concise information to supervisors and co-workers via radio, written, electronic, or in-person communication.
Assist with physical audits.
Research and recommend solutions for security-related issues.
Be certified and able to perform CPR, First Aid, and use of an AED.
Be a certified Drug and Alcohol technician.
