About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to support a healthcare location in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The role involves serving and safeguarding patients, visitors, staff, and the site while providing customer service and maintaining a visible security presence. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The position pays $18.69 per hour and requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule has not yet been assigned and will be determined during hiring, onboarding, and training based on business needs.

Applicants must meet hospital vaccination requirements, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may apply before employment. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required because this is a driving position.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and patrol activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
