About The Position

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring Unarmed Security Officers in New Albany. This is a six-month contract paying $20.50 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule and first- and second-shift opportunities. Officers provide customer service, help maintain site safety, monitor access and security cameras, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and keep accurate administrative and incident records.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to acquire and maintain a valid Ohio Security License, including completing state-accredited training requirements.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Meet the physical essential functions of the job, which may include lifting 50+ pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

• Bilingual ability is considered a plus.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including directions and general business information.
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs pertaining to people or property, including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to property incidents, including emergencies, and record incident information for the building.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
