About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring Security Officers in Etna, Ohio, to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public. The role calls for professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The listed pay rate is $18 per hour. Available shifts are 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. three days per week, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Candidates must meet all preemployment requirements, including criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Must meet all preemployment requirements, including criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment through a visible presence and routine patrols.
Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
