Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Clinic Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to support a healthcare location in Cleveland, Ohio. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients and visitors, and provide professional customer service and communication. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Applicants must meet hospital vaccination requirements and be able to restrain individuals. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.
Requirements
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable licensing requirements if required under state or local laws and regulations.
- Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
- Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and report security-related concerns according to site-specific procedures.
