Security Officer Part Time Healthcare Clinic Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a healthcare setting in Cleveland, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role requires customer service, clear communication, and calm, professional responses to security-related concerns and emergencies. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Officers can access the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.
- Have a valid driver's license only if assigned to a driving position.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, assist with visitor directions and wayfinding, and report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site procedures.
