About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting in Oxford, North Carolina. The role involves driving and requires a valid driver’s license. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service. The listed schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, access control, directions, and communication of site policies.
Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
