About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol role at a healthcare site in Bartlett, Tennessee. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and the facility through regular patrols, customer service, access support, incident response, and accurate reporting. The listed pay rate is $17.91 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with healthcare personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities promptly and accurately according to reporting procedures.
