About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a healthcare location in Wilmington, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and responding to security concerns and emergencies. The role pays $18.54 per hour and is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
