Security Officer Part Time Hospital Clinic Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard a healthcare client in Cleveland, Ohio. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role involves communicating clearly, responding to security concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. The scheduled shifts are Thursday and Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The position pays $16.00 per hour. Requirements
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.
- Have a valid driver's license if driving is required for the position.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in accordance with healthcare location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and policy compliance in the healthcare environment.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
