About The Position

Seeking an experienced security officer for a part-time night shift position. This role involves patrolling a large warehouse facility with multiple warehouses, primarily using a cart but also requiring some foot patrols to check doors, inside buildings, and gate areas. The officer will be responsible for observing and reporting, deterring vandals, homeless, and other unauthorized persons. This position requires working alone at night and detailed reporting using the Silvertrac app for all activities and incidents. The location is near the Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa.

Requirements

Current AZ unarmed guard card.
Minimum of 2-3 years of security experience (military experience accepted in lieu of security experience).
Clean driving record.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work alone at night.
Detailed in reporting.

Responsibilities

Patrolling a large warehouse facility with multiple warehouses.
Patrolling the site on a cart, observing and reporting, deterring vandals, homeless, and other unauthorized persons.
Performing foot patrols to check doors, inside some buildings, and gate areas.
Conducting a minimum of 2 hourly checks each hour, logging everything in Silvertrac.
Checking for lights out, damage, doors, gates open, leaks, fires, broken windows, and reporting each issue found.
Calling police, fire, and ambulance as needed.
Working alone at night.
Cleaning up after yourself.
Using Silvertrac for all reporting and incident reporting.
