About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Marietta, Pennsylvania. This unarmed patrol-driving role involves protecting tenants, visitors, and employees by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, and helping create a welcoming environment. A valid driver’s license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation, in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorized entry according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
