Security Officer Distribution Center
About The Position
As a full-time Security Officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location in Lathrop, California, you will help manage facility access, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. The role involves carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and responding to emergencies when appropriate. The position pays $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control facility access by verifying credentials, screening visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow established site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Help maintain a controlled environment for personnel, visitors, and product movement by reporting irregularities, documenting incidents, and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
