About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Armed Patrol Driver in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned commercial real estate site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust their hours as needed.

The position pays $16.50 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. The officer provides customer service and security support, conducts armed patrols, monitors access, responds to incidents, and completes reports and shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, coordinating with site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with company and site requirements.
