About The Position

Securitas is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer in Wichita, Kansas, for a weekend shift at $17.50 per hour. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. Full training is provided.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Previous armed experience and/or certification preferred.
Experience in security, law enforcement, or the military is considered a good fit.

Responsibilities
