About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The officer carries out safety and security procedures, follows site-specific policies, and responds to emergencies as appropriate. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The role requires a valid Nevada armed PILB credential. Armed guard card holders may qualify for a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for full-time work or $3,000 for part-time work. The stated pay rate is $22.66 or more per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Hold a valid Nevada armed PILB credential.
• Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
