About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a primarily driving vehicle-patrol post at a government location in Baltimore, Maryland. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service and communication. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies at government facilities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and other concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and professionally, following established response protocols.
Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and responding public service personnel.
