About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a hotel and resort location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role provides a welcoming, professional presence for guests and visitors while monitoring access, responding to security-related concerns, and communicating with site personnel. It is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The listed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Staff the front desk or lobby, greet and direct guests and visitors, verify access as required, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
Monitor property access through the front desk, observe lobby activity, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
