About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Site Patrol Coverage in Groveport, Ohio. The position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly shift serve as the employee’s fixed “anchor shifts,” and the assignment requires a six-month commitment. Employees may build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and may scale back when needed.

The role involves unarmed patrol coverage at a logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter. The listed schedule is Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.79 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts and unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
