About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for site patrol coverage at a financial institution location in Frederick, Maryland. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responds professionally to security concerns. The role also involves customer service, clear communication, and supporting a welcoming environment. The scheduled shifts are Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.34 per hour. Employees may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and established reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access to the location and report unauthorized activity, suspicious conditions, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation according to site-specific requirements.
