Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Site Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Site Patrol in San Antonio, Texas. The position provides reliable hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts at that site or other locations through the company’s scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift is a fixed “anchor shift” requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may vary their total hours from week to week and can work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Monday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. Pay is $15.24 per hour. The officer provides customer service and conducts unarmed patrols at a distribution facility, including parking, loading, trailer, and perimeter areas. The role also involves monitoring access and vehicle traffic, responding to incidents and alarms, and completing required security logs and reports.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, parking areas, loading zones, trailer areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry where required, and maintain orderly movement of personnel, deliveries, and outbound shipments.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Complete required logs, patrol records, and incident reports in accordance with site-specific policies and security procedures.
