Security Officer - Part Time Patrol Driver

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol post at a chemical and petrochemical location in Oregon, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The schedule is Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour, paid weekly. Applicants may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. No experience is required.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, equipment concerns, and access-control issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation according to site-specific requirements.
Provide customer service and maintain a visible security presence.
