About The Position

Walden Security is hiring a part-time weekend Security Officer for a commercial building in Downtown Knoxville. The officer will conduct foot patrols in a large, air-conditioned and heated building, working independently and walking halls and climbing stairs. The scheduled hours are 0700–1900 on Saturdays and Sundays. The role protects client property against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. The employee must obtain an unarmed security license for Tennessee; a staff trainer will assist with the process. Pay is $16.50 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Must obtain an unarmed security license for the State of Tennessee.

Responsibilities

Conduct foot patrols and rounds throughout the building.
Walk halls and climb stairs while working independently.
