About The Position

Securitas Security is hiring a Security Officer for a corporate site in Lowell, Massachusetts. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property through patrols, surveillance and access-control monitoring, incident response, and a professional security presence throughout the shift. The stated schedule is Friday 7 a.m.–3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 p.m.–7 a.m., and Monday and Tuesday 3 p.m.–11 p.m. The pay rate is $22.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the property.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and access control systems.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
• Enforce site rules and access control procedures.
• Complete accurate reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Conduct security checks of doors, windows, gates, and equipment.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Work with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
