About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Findlay, Ohio. The role helps maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security concerns. The officer provides customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff, while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Pay is $17.50 per hour, paid weekly. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access control alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Accurately document incidents and daily activities.
