About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a designated site in Phoenix, Arizona. The role provides fixed weekend overnight shifts with a six-month commitment, and offers the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Employees may increase their hours, potentially reaching up to 40 hours per week, or scale back as needed. The listed pay rate is $21.20 per hour.

The scheduled anchor shifts are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Duties include providing customer service while following security procedures and site policies, responding calmly to incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols. Site environments and conditions may vary.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; it is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter.
