About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Site Observation to support a food and beverage production location in Romeoville, Illinois. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role also provides customer service, communicates with team members and visitors, and supports a welcoming environment. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.51 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations involving employees, visitors, deliveries, or facility operations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document arrivals, departures, and security-related incidents.
Support procedures for deliveries and outbound shipments, maintain accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
