Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate communication between on-site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain detailed dispatch logs, incident records, and other required reports related to access activity, unusual events, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related matters at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with attention to operational areas common to an industrial location where working environments and conditions may vary by site.
