About The Position

Cerasus is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Cincinnati. The role provides customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. The officer responds calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations, and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is on the third shift and includes weekends. A valid driver’s license is required because driving is part of the role.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Pass a computer literacy test demonstrating competency in basic technology usage.
• Have one year of verifiable experience in security or comparable industries.
• Be willing and able to complete the Crisis Prevention Institute curriculum as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license; driving is required.
