About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites relating to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves customer service, frequent interactions with client employees and guests, and using technology devices throughout the shift. One 8-hour shift is guaranteed, with opportunities to pick up additional hours to cover vacations and call-offs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and control access.

Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required at the assigned site.
