About The Position
GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Cloquet, Minnesota. The officer monitors security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and potential threats before they escalate. The position also involves documenting incidents, responding to threats, conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, checking security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and helping protect people and property. The officer may collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday, first-shift position from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., paying $20.60 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
- Pass an extensive screening process.
- Have strong report-writing skills.
- Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
- Have strong proficiency with technology.
- Have military, law enforcement, or security experience, or be currently enrolled in or have completed an associate degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement.
- Be willing to obtain Level 2 certification.
- Have a state license if required.
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
