About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Cloquet, Minnesota. The role focuses on monitoring security systems and identifying potential threats before they escalate in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hourly wage of $20.60. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have military, law enforcement, or security experience, or be currently enrolled in or have completed an associate degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement.
• Be willing to obtain Level 2 certification.
• Have a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Protect the safety of individuals and property.
