About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Richardson, Texas, you will help safeguard clients, tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors while providing a welcoming environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service. The role offers access to a shift-claiming platform and paid training. Pay is $18.07 per hour. The stated schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building systems as assigned; verify credentials and maintain accurate records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, authorized tenant spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter; report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and provide shift handoffs.
• Maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
