Security Officer Full Time Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for patrol operations at a manufacturing and industrial location in Pensacola, Florida. The unarmed officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, supporting badge and access-control activities, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication to personnel, visitors, and contractors, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting patrol activity and observations. The scheduled hours are Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access-control and badge systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established protocols.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
