About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a corporate financial services office. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a prominent financial services location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine rounds, support access control activities, respond to situations as needed, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Support access control activities and provide professional communication.
