Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Security Clearance Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to serve at a high-profile aerospace and defense location in Falls Church, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors. Duties include following site-specific security procedures, responding to incidents and alarms, monitoring access points, and supporting the protection of sensitive operations. The scheduled shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $25.24 per hour. The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and restricted locations to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and access authorization, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Protect sensitive aerospace and defense operations by following established reporting, escalation, and confidentiality requirements.
