About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Fremont, California. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. The role involves communicating with visitors and team members and using technology to support daily operations. Schedules may be built using the Claim a Shift platform.

The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate clearly with visitors and team members, using technology to support daily operations.
