About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol driver at a healthcare location in Durham, North Carolina, you will help safeguard clients by conducting patrols, monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. You will provide customer service and clear communication while reflecting the company’s values.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, donors, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain awareness of activity in assigned areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
