About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for building patrol at a manufacturing and industrial location in Lake Forest, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, clear communication, integrity, and a team-focused approach. The position is part time on the overnight shift, with scheduled hours Monday and Sunday from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Pay is $22.00 per hour. Officers can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations and actions through required reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of work areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access according to site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor processing.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and promptly report maintenance concerns, hazards, or security-related issues to site leadership.
