Security Officer Part Time Patrol for Building
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to patrol a manufacturing and industrial facility in Carson, California. The role involves conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement. The officer provides customer service and supports the company’s people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. The scheduled shifts are Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet the stated age requirement for unarmed roles. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.
