About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Plain City, Ohio. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and site procedures, and provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors. The role includes responding to incidents and alarms, observing activity around the site, documenting findings, and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel. The position is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $17.98 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and promptly reporting concerns.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery activity, verifying authorization under site-specific procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
