About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Middleport, New York. The position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring and patrolling client premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide information and customer service to client employees and customers. The role involves dealing with truck traffic and contractors, and following client-specific procedures for signing visitors and contractors in and out of the facility and its grounds. No prior security experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., totaling 50 hours per week, including 10 hours of overtime. Weekends are not required. The listed pay rate is $17 per hour.

Requirements

Attention to detail.
Comfort dealing with truck traffic and contractors.
Ability to follow specific client procedures for signing in and out visitors and contractors accessing the facility and grounds.
Excellent customer and client service skills.
No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
