Security Officer - Visitor Management

About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Visitor Management at a food and beverage production location in Frankfort, Indiana, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. You will provide a visible security presence while supporting a welcoming environment. The role offers access to a shift-claiming platform for exploring additional shifts and building a schedule.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site-specific access-control procedures and security policies.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate access records.
Screen inbound and outbound traffic, including delivery vehicles and personnel, according to site procedures and restricted-area requirements.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
