Security Officer Driver Patrol Operations
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Driver Patrol Operations in Bedminster, New Jersey, to serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. The role involves driving patrols and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The officer provides customer service, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and follows site procedures and policies. The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements, have at least one year of security-related experience, and pass a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply based on state and local regulations. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity according to site requirements; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs covering patrol findings, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.
