About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a healthcare site in Smyrna, Tennessee. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Hours may vary from part-time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The role involves customer service, security procedures, incident response, and patrols. Pay is $20.20 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; it is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
• Any applicable licensing requirements may need to be met before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
