About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Pay is $17.14 per hour, paid weekly. This is a temporary position.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
