About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a temporary Security Officer to safeguard clients across industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role pays $20.00 per hour and includes paid orientation and training. Officers provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies and incidents. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
