About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring temporary Surveillance Security Officers in Anaheim, California. The officer monitors security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and potential threats before they escalate. The role may be based in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses. Multiple day, swing, and grave shifts are available; shift details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card).
• Have completed the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
