About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Bridgeport, Connecticut, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct patrols, monitor activity, respond to security concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; verify credentials and report access concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs using required reporting systems.
